Dear Community,

We wanted to follow up to share more context on today’s news about our NFL license extension.

Over the past year, we’ve been working diligently to secure the foundation needed to support NFL PRO ERA. The expanded rights will allow us to build across gaming, media, and training, which opens the door to deeper experiences that weren’t possible before. Our vision is that your experience in NFL PRO ERA matches what we offer to ESPN through the Visualizer tool.

This would not be possible without this community’s support and the NFL’s continued commitment to the game.

As we move into this next phase, we’re actively shaping the roadmap. Truthfully, the work started in 2025 and has required shifting our engineers’ focus toward building a sustainable infrastructure for the long term. It’s why you didn’t see any major updates this season. While we had hoped to follow through on our initial live update strategy, we had to pivot in order to keep the game alive. We will keep you posted as the development process continues.

Most importantly, NFL PRO ERA is here to stay. The game will continue to be available on Meta and Google, and while support is limited right now, we’ll continue addressing bugs and issues as we’re able. In the meantime, support for Sony and Steam platforms will be paused as we reassess our platform strategy.

The VR gaming industry is facing headwinds and our focus is on building stability and setting ourselves up for what comes next. We believe these new rights and organizational shifts position us for success.
